What are your toys made from?

We use sustainably sourced timber  - mostly American Hard Maple - which we buy locally. Our preference for maple comes from it's hard-wearing durability, light colour, feel-in-hand and beautiful grain. Maple also does not splinter easily and doesn't contain toxic extractives, unlike some other timber types. 

What paints and sealant do you use?

All our coloured products are lovingly hand painted with toy-certified and child friendly water-based paints. They adhere to EN71 and ASNZ

We use a Hardwax Oil to seal our pieces, a natural and water resistant
