Custom Creation ~ Deposit Only ~ Please Read Listing Before Purchasing

This listing is for the creation of a custom animal(s) or figurine(s). The listing fee is a deposit only. This locks your request into the system. You can request multiple custom pieces under the one deposit. 

How does it work?

1. Consider your request - type, size, shape, colour. Photos/inspiration are super helpful if you have them. The more detail the better but don't be worried if you're not 100% sure, we can work out the nitty gritty later. 
2. Leave a note at checkout with your request, and pay the deposit. The deposit locks your request into the system and your position in the list of custom orders. (If you're unable to leave a note at checkout, please send us an email).
3. Keep an eye out for an email from us - we will clarify your request, provide a quote and turnaround time for the work. 
4. Once work is complete and you are happy with your custom piece, an invoice will be sent with the outstanding amount due, including postage. Please ensure your shipping details are correct. 
5. Enjoy your super special and unique NOM piece, and don't forget to leave a review! 

What sort of customization do you offer?

We offer 3 main customization options:

1. Standard design - similar to our standard range of current animals. Legs are fused, painting is simple but detailed where necessary.  An excellent choice for toys that will be part of playtime.
2. Movement design - a dynamic 'sculpturesque' representation of your request. This is less suited to (rough) play, suitable more so for display and gifting purposes. The shapes will be more three-dimensional, with more detail in the painting.
3. Colour Change - pick something in our existing range and customise the colour. Popular choices are fairies and mermaids, but the sky is the limit!

How much will it cost?

Standard: estimate $50 - $150, per piece*

Movement: estimate $100 - $300, per piece*

Colour Change: estimate $10-$20 additional to the cost of the piece (i.e. Large Dragon standard $99.95 + $10 for colour change = $109.95)

*subject to size and complexity requirements. 

How long will it take?

Timeframes will vary based on the time of year. Please allow between 2-6 weeks on average, and longer if you require multiple pieces. Custom orders will not be taken on from mid-November, to avoid burning out over the Christmas period. 

Important Information:

• Not all customizations are possible - in the event that we are unable to create something to your requirements, a full refund will be issued.
• All designs and pieces are the intellectual property of NOM Handcrafted Pty Ltd, and are not to be replicated without permission. 
• In the event that the customer is unhappy and does not wish to proceed, a refund of the deposit may be provided, but the work remains the property of NOM Handcrafted Pty Ltd and may be sold at their discretion.
• We work with particular sizes of timber, and so larger pieces can be difficult to achieve. Most of our sizes work within 10 - 20cm long, by 1 - 3.5cm wide. If you require something longer or wider than this, the timber may need to be laminated (glued) and there will be a visible line.

All designs are drawn, cut, shaped, carved and painted by me (Eryn). I am not an expert, but I LOVE what I do. There are a lot of things I can't do, but I will always give my all. However, I know that my style may not to be everyone's taste, and if you are at all unhappy with the final result, please rest assured that you will receive a refund.
